Advances Changing Practice
October 10-11, 2019
Each year, the Department of Medicine hosts the Update in Internal Medicine: Advances Changing Practice course. This two-day post-graduate course provides cost-effective continuing education credits on current topics for general internists, family practitioners, medical specialists, and other healthcare professionals throughout Western Pennsylvania and beyond. The course is a comprehensive update on major advances in internal medicine as well as a review of various medical- and surgical-related topics affecting daily practice.
Since 2008, we have averaged 300 attendees.
The 2020 Update in Internal Medicine course will be held October 22-23, 2020, at the Marriott Pittsburgh City Center in Downtown Pittsburgh.
