Each year, the Department of Medicine hosts the Update in Internal Medicine: Evidence-Based Approaches to Common Medical Problems course. This two-day post-graduate course provides cost-effective continuing education credits on current topics for general internists, family practitioners, medical specialists, and other healthcare professionals throughout Western Pennsylvania and beyond. The course is a comprehensive update on major advances in internal medicine as well as a review of various medical- and surgical-related topics affecting daily practice.
