This Grand Rounds featured a Bench-to-Bedside Lecture by Jonathan Alder, PhD, and John McDyer, MD. In their presentation titled “Telomere Biology and Lung Transplantation: Why it’s not always about the Lung”, Drs. Alder and McDyer will illustrate their collaborative work in better understanding precision medicine within the context of lung transplantation. Further, they will discuss how their work in understanding individuals’ genetics can alter clinical care and ensure the promise of “doing no harm”.
