We are very excited to host Dr. Darilyn Moyer, MD, FACP, FRCP, FIDSA, FAMWA, who brings with her an immense amount of clinical and leadership experience that we are happy to have the opportunity to learn from. She serves as CEO and Executive Vice President of the ACP, and is on the Board of Directors for and the Immediate Past President of the Council of Medical Subspecialty Societies. She also has a considerable amount of experience within academia, as she previously was a Professor of Medicine, Executive Vice Chair for Education, Internal Medicine Residency Program Director and Assistant Dean for Graduate Medical Education at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. In addition to her Internal Medicine and HIV/Infectious Diseases training, her clinical interests include medical education, patient safety, professionalism and digital media, health equity, and high-value care. We will be hearing more about her work within health equity through her talk entitled, “Health Is More Than Healthcare: Closing the Gap on Health Inequities”.
