Decisions about the optimal allocation of key resources such as hospital beds, medications, and durable equipment raise both logistical and ethical questions and have important ramifications for hospital policy. COVID-19 has placed further strain on an already stressed medical system in which decisions have to be made equitably and efficiently to best serve our patients. We are excited to welcome Dr. Lisa Villarroel, MD, MPH, and Dr. Doug White, MD, MAS, to discuss these timely issues in the rapidly evolving landscape of COVID-19 era care.
